Day off from running. It's amazing how much better I feel after a recovery run day... much better than the day after a hard run. I think I'm starting to get the hang of this training thing.
Hit the gym for the first time in a while to get in a little bit of strength work.
3 sets bench: 135 x 16, 135 x 16, 136 x 10
3 sets pull-ups: 10, 8, 6
3 sets curls: 25 x 12, 30 x 10, 25 x 10
tricep pulldowns: 65 x 16, 85 x 16, 85 x 10
I've really lost a lot of strength since I quit lifting and started running. I'd like to lift a little more often as long as it doesn't interfere with my marathon training. I guess I'll see how things go.
